About City of Saint-Constant
The city of Saint-Constant wants to revolutionize online research in the municipal field. The city council has a good knowledge of its technological infrastructure and wants to develop a big idea. Locomotive wins the call for tenders for the realization of an abstract but precise vision: a brand new online portal integrating intelligent searching abilities though a multifunctional information bank, also called BIM.
Locomotive's work
Locomotive capitalizes on the actual brand image of the city by creating a highly accessible and functional citizen portal, whose design is based on a simple grid, typography and solid color. The team also supports the communications of the city in its content strategy with the production of video sequences intended for the new website.
Feature
Multi-functional Information Bank
The Multi-functional Information Bank (MIB) is an advanced search system to improve the city's ability to respond to online citizens, reducing calls to 311. This approach is being introduced into the digital strategy of the city, and at the heart of the redesign of the website also developed by Locomotive.
Organic users
Search queries
The redesign of the city's website shows very positive impacts on organic results, only a few months after its launch. Specifically, we note a 20% increase in organic traffic and a 25% increase in the duration of visits, all devices combined.
